Nostromo n52 and WoW 2.0

I started using the WoW interface bar modification “Bartender3″ with my Belkin Nostromo n52. This should explain how I efficiently map my buttons to achieve 46 actions on one 14-key pad. I will be adding to this post as I take screenshots, and I may be able to provide a .lua file to ease the setup process for others.

In array, I map the following for non-shift:

(1) (2) (u) (3) (4)
(5) (l) (d) (r) (6)
(7) (8) (9) (0)

Bartender does NOT support modifier+direction keys, so I bound red shift (left on dpad for me) to this:

(s-1) (s-2) (unb) (s-3) (s-4)
(s-5) (s-,) (unb) (s-.) (s-6)
(s-7) (s-8) (s-9) (s-0)

That way I see the light coming on. It’s the same for the other two shift states. (ctrl/alt)

I’ve set my bars up as 12 buttons over three rows. The four (!) bars i use for this are mapped to the directions of the d-pad, so my ui looks like an inverted “T” I bound everything in this form:

1 2 3 4
5 , . 6
7 8 9 0

I substituted the appropriate modifiers as needed. This gives me 46 buttons (two are directional when unshifted for “strafing”) under my left hand.

Are you still using this setup? If so, screen shot please. If you’ve since tweaked it to be much better let me know. Thanks. - Gemski@Smolderthorn
